UNDONE approaches mechanical watchmaking with the restraint found in Japanese design: reduce excess, respect process, and let function define form.

Rikishi takes its name from the Japanese word for a sumo wrestler, a symbol of strength shaped through discipline, balance, and ritual. Not raw force, but power that is trained, controlled, and grounded. This philosophy defines the watch from the inside out.

At the center of the dial sits the power reserve indicator, a quiet expression of mechanical balance. As the watch is worn, energy accumulates. As it rests, that energy gradually returns to stillness. Time is not only measured, but managed.

The dial surface reflects this same discipline through layered textures and controlled finishes. Vertical brushing and structured patterns add depth without shine, allowing light to move calmly across the surface. Nothing decorative. Everything intentional.

Powered by the Japanese automatic Timemodule NE57 and visible through an exhibition caseback, Rikishi reveals its mechanics with honesty. Motion is converted into stored energy. No battery. No shortcuts. Built for daily reliability.

Three colors. One discipline.

Layered Dial. Measured Energy.

The Aka Red dial is built in layers, combining a textured patterned surface with controlled finishing to create depth and presence without shine. The matte treatment keeps the color grounded, allowing the surface to absorb light rather than reflect it.

The power reserve indicator is integrated directly into the dial, tracking stored energy as it accumulates through wear and gradually releases at rest. A functional element, placed with intention and balance, not as decoration.

A restrained red, shaped by discipline.
Designed to hold energy, not display it.

The Mechanical Heart

Rikishi features a see-through exhibition caseback that reveals the Japanese automatic Timemodule NE57 movement.

As the watch is worn, the central rotor converts wrist motion into stored energy, powering the movement without a battery. The finishing is intentionally functional, prioritizing reliability and long-term performance over decoration.

Engravings around the caseback mark the essentials: stainless steel construction, Japanese movement, and 100-meter water resistance.

Mechanical, visible, and built for everyday use.
