Growing up in East Germany and leaving the GDR to West Germany after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, Roy and his family experienced challenges that helped shape who he is today. He believes that itβs better to own something with a meaning than to buy for the sake of consuming. He decides to customize his watch caseback with the phrase βlive by design, not by defaultβ as a cornerstone of his life, that if you put your mind to it, you can make anything happen.
