The dial

Where the wave breaks into gold

Each dial is brought to life with carefully applied gold leaf, creating a naturally textured, three-dimensional finish across the wave. As the light moves, the gold reveals new layers, reflections and details, so the artwork reads differently from every angle.

Handmade gold leaf goes down at the base of the dial before the wave is built over it. Up close it is crumpled, uneven and alive, which is exactly the point.

Caseback

The wave runs deep

The wave doesn’t stop at the dial. A Grade 2 titanium caseback opens onto the movement, with the Hokusai wave and gold carried through to the rotor in IP Blue plating.

The back glass is printed with each watch’s own limited-edition number, the mark that makes yours a single piece in the run.
